2011-10-31 - KKOP 3 Month Extension

KKOP was scheduled to close on 31st October 2011. In August 2011 the MWA & MADCOWA through the project steering committee (PSC) applied for a three months no-cost extension of the project and a one month renewal of the project consultant's contract. The USAID in September 2011 kindly granted the extension and adjusted the grant to KES. 7 Million to enable the PSC to renew the project consultant's contract for one month. The project is now scheduled to close on 31st January 2012. MWA & MADCOWA are grateful to USAID for the project extension and additional funds. They also thank ACT! for their support in implementation of the KKOP.
